How to come to Alsace

By plane

Alsace has two international airports.

Euroairport (Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg airport)

Euroairport is the airport of basel, Mulhouse and Freiburg. It is located in the South of Alsace at the border between Switzerland and Germany.
In addition to the regular airlines companies you can find some low cost companies such as Easy Jet, Vueling and Ryanair. A good way to come to Alsace with a tight budget! Here is the list of the cities linked to Euroairport by direct flights.

How to get to Euroairport and how to leave it

Public transportation

There is a shuttle between Euroairport and the sation of Saint-Louis (2,50 euros – 12 minutes). You will find the schedule here. At the station, you will find direct trains  to go to Mulhouse (6 euros – 15 minutes) Colmar (13 euros – 35 minutes) and Strasbourg (about 23 euros – 1h10). There are also private shuttles between Euroairport and Strasbourg they can be private or shared with other people:
Strasbourg navette (from 29 euros) and Alsace Navette airport (from 38 euros)

Aéroport de Strasbourg-Entzheim

Strasbourg Entsheim airport is a much smaller airport. It is located in Strasbourg (Bas Rhin).

How to get to the Strasbourg-Entzheim airport and how to leave it

Public transportation

The  train station Entzheim-Airport is reachable in 5 minutes on foot. There is a shuttle that links the airport to Strasbourg in about 10 minutes. You will find the schedule here. It costs 2,60 euros for a single ticket and 4,20 euros for a ticket including the train and the tramway in Strasbourg.
